Happy Halloween

Our nursery is light and airy with an in-house kitchen producing freshly cooked nutritious food every day. We do not serve convenience or any deep-fried food.

We are confident you will appreciate our nursery, its setting and facilities! Should you wish to visit, we are available at any time to meet with you. Any comments or input from parents are always welcome.

Currently, due to the safety measures that we have in place for Covid, we may ask you to visit during on Saturday when the facilities are free of staff and children so you can explore the rooms and get a feel for our facility.

Fingerprint Biometric Access

Security is our top priority here at Purple Bees. With this in mind, we operate a ‘fingerprint’ biometric access system to protect both our children and our team. This system allows nursery personnel to register a parent’s fingerprints in seconds.

Parents who wish to enter the setting need to simply press their fingerprint on a sensor pad at the door to gain fast, easy access. We operate an “open house” policy where registered parents can enter the nursery any time of the day* They can leave or collect their children without fuss while unregistered visitors must await admission by a member of staff.

The biometric system means members of staff can remain in constant supervision of the children.

Outdoor Play

At Purple Bees, we consider outdoor play to be an essential part of children’s learning and development. We believe that children need lots of variety of play and that they need to experience a range of different learning environments as part of their development.
 
Playing and leaving the room to run around outside will not only improve their physical health but will also stimulate their minds as they discover outdoor activities and experience the different seasons.

Sleep Room

We have a dedicated sleep room with soft lighting and natural wood cots.
 
This room has been designed to provide a calm and quiet restful environment for babies, allowing them to enjoy a comfortable nap without being disturbed by any external noise. Each child will have their own bed linen, which is regularly laundered in-house.
 
All of our sleeping babies are very closely monitored through our CCTV systems to ensure their safety and well-being at all times. Staff will also regularly check in on the babies, in addition, we endeavour to adhere to your desired and established sleep routines at all times.

Did you know that every week we have external teachers into the nursery. We have French on one week, followed by Music Masters the next week. Here's Clare talking about what she's been up to this week at Fairytales .
